A PLACE TO DISCOVER
A little closer
to Riverhead.
Founded in 1983 by Robert Palmer, this North Fork vineyard is now operated by the Massoud family. Its tasting room welcomes visitors throughout the year.
THE STORY BEHIND THE PLACE
History & heritage
Robert “Bob” Palmer established the vineyard in 1983 after acquiring a rolling parcel of gravelly North Fork farmland. The Massoud family now owns and operates the estate, continuing a property whose identity remains closely tied to its founder.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The vineyard experience
The year-round tasting room includes vintage booth seating, while the outdoor pavilion looks across vineyard rows. The property offers guided and customizable formats as well as group arrangements. Seasonal schedules can differ between the indoor spaces and outdoor experiences.
THE WINES
A sense of their style
Palmer produces estate wines and includes Albariño in its range. Its winemaking material also emphasizes sustainable vineyard practices; the precise tasting selection changes with the current menu.
Styles describe the producer’s range, not a live tasting menu or inventory. Offerings change by vintage and season.
