A PLACE TO DISCOVER
A little closer
to Cutchogue.
McCall's Cutchogue tasting room overlooks the Merlot vines of its Corchaug Estate Vineyard. Outdoor picnic tables and the historic farm setting shape the visitor experience.
THE STORY BEHIND THE PLACE
History & heritage
In 1996, Russell McCall worked with the Peconic Land Trust to protect farmland and woodland around his family’s property, then planted 21 acres of vines. McCall’s first vintage was made in 2007; its tasting room opened in 2010, alongside a wind turbine and cattle operation.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The vineyard experience
The Cutchogue farm offers outdoor tables overlooking Merlot vines at the Corchaug Estate Vineyard. Guided vineyard visits connect the wines with conservation, farming and the cattle raised nearby. The tasting room’s agricultural surroundings make the working landscape a major part of the experience.
THE WINES
A sense of their style
The winery’s published range includes Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and rosé, with Merlot grown at Corchaug. The acquisition of North Ridge Vineyard in 2011 expanded its estate-grown production.
Styles describe the producer’s range, not a live tasting menu or inventory. Offerings change by vintage and season.
