THE STORY BEHIND THE PLACE
History & heritage
Bridge Lane began as a second label of Lieb Cellars before becoming a distinct operation. Its tasting room is attached to the winery on Cox Neck Road in Mattituck.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The vineyard experience
A modern indoor bar opens to a colorful patio with rainbow picnic tables, a shaded lawn and Adirondack chairs. The venue describes a relaxed bar-service experience with bocce, shuffleboard and cornhole. Seasonal weekend music adds to the outdoor atmosphere. Tours are not offered, so plan this as a tasting-room and picnic stop.
THE WINES
A sense of their style
The visitor menu lists White Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, rosé, a red blend and Pinot Noir. The regional wine association describes a fresh, dry, fruit-led style and fruit sourced across New York State.
Styles describe the producer’s range, not a live tasting menu or inventory. Offerings change by vintage and season.
